*Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav Leads Kargil Vijay Diwas Ceremony at Shaurya Smarak**

**Bhopal, July 26, 2024** – Madhya Pradesh today solemnly observed Kargil Vijay Diwas at the iconic Shaurya Smarak, Bhopal honoring the bravery and sacrifices of our soldiers during the Kargil War. The ceremony was graced by the Honorable Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Lt Gen Prit Pal Singh, AVSM, GOC, Sudarshan Chakra Corps and other esteemed dignitaries from the state and Army.
The event commenced at 10 AM with a stirring Guard of Honour and wreath-laying by Lt Gen Prit Pal Singh setting a tone of reverence for the day. Following this, Lt Gen Singh welcomed Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, who received Guard of Honour and laid a wreath in tribute to the fallen heroes.
A poignant moment of the ceremony was the unveiling of war trophies, symbolizing bravery and victory, presented by Indian Army to the state of Madhya Pradesh in commemoration of the Rajat Jayanti (silver jubilee) of Kargil Vijay Diwas. This gesture underscored the enduring gratitude and respect for the sacrifices made by our soldiers.
The ceremony continued with vibrant Rang Manch performances by the NCC Cadets, who showcased their patriotism through various cultural presentations that captivated the audience and ignited a sense of national pride.
