New Delhi, 27th September. ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG), India\u2019s leading gaming brand, today hosted its flagship esports property \u2013 ROG Showdown \u2013 at Croma, Odeon CP. This is the latest in a series of events aimed at strengthening community engagement and expanding the gaming ecosystem in India by making competitive esports more accessible to young gamers.<\/p>\n
This edition featured Valorant (2v2 format), one of the most popular titles among young gamers. The tournament witnessed over 120 registrations, with 60 teams applying creating a charged atmosphere at the venue with live audiences cheering for their favorite players.

Hosting the tournament in partner retail stores like Croma brings the excitement of competitive gaming closer to consumers, while also giving them the chance to experience the full potential of ROG devices first-hand. This is a step forward in strengthening India\u2019s gaming ecosystem and engaging with the next generation of gamers.\u201d<\/p>\n
Talking about the ROG Showdown at Croma, a Croma spokesperson said, \u201cGaming in India is evolving rapidly, and we are excited to be at the forefront of this transformation. Hosting the ROG Showdown at our Odeon, Connaught Place store is part of our effort to bring immersive, high-energy experiences directly to our customers. The winners took home a prize of \u20b935,000, while the runners-up received \u20b915,000. The winners of the event were Mr. Sambhav Singh and Mr. Tushar Singh, (runner up) Mr. Surash and Mr. Aman Singh Aswal. With 24 successful Showdowns executed this quarter alone, including six in Large Format Retail (LFR) stores, ROG continues to deliver immersive experiences that combine esports with retail engagement.<\/p>\n
