Bhopal, 16 November 2025 \u2014 The Scope Global Skills University campus came alive today with the vibrant hues of imagination and creativity as 2700 schoolchildren transformed blank canvases into powerful expressions of thought and emotion. The 7th Tagore Children Painting Competition 2025, jointly organized by the Vishwarang Foundation, Rabindranath Tagore University (RNTU), and Scope Global Skills University (SGSU), concluded with remarkable enthusiasm and large-scale participation.<\/p>\n
Students from Grades 3 to 12 competed across four categories, presenting artworks on themes ranging from women empowerment, space technology, nature, and spirituality (including depictions of Hanuman, Radha-Krishna, Lord Shiva, Premanand Ji, and Sanatan traditions), to global warming, digitalization, portraiture, wildlife, cartoon characters, Mandana art, Lord Jagannath, aliens, patriotism, and icons like Buddha and Mahavira.<\/p>\n
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi, Chancellor of Scope Global Skills University, remarked, \u201cThe participation of 2700 children is a testament to the innate creativity that flows through young minds. Vishwarang continues to nurture sensitivity and imagination in children through the arts, literature, and culture.\u201d<\/p>\n
Dr. Aditi Chaturvedi Vats, Pro-Chancellor of Rabindranath Tagore University, added, \u201cThis competition empowers children to think freely and express their emotions. The diversity and depth of themes explored today reflect the extraordinary creative potential of our young artists.\u201d<\/p>\n
Dr. Vijay Singh, Vice Chancellor of SGSU, and Dr. Sitesh Kumar Sinha, Registrar, SGSU, emphasized that the competition serves as a national platform to elevate students\u2019 artistic vision. \u201cWhat stood out most,\u201d they noted, \u201cwas the remarkable sensitivity with which children engaged with themes of religion, culture, technology, nature, and science.\u201d<\/p>\n
Dr. Sangeeta Johri, Registrar of RNTU, highlighted the transformative impact of such initiatives, \u201cEvents like these play a crucial role in building confidence and shaping the personalities of school children. Today\u2019s gathering marks a significant step toward nurturing the artists of tomorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n
Selected participants will be invited to join a special art workshop with national artists during Vishwarang 2025, scheduled to happen in Bhopal on 27th, 28th, and 29th November 2025.
