Inner Wheel Club of Bhopal Rise Hosts Successful Installation and Awareness Event on Women’s Health
On Sunday, July 28, 2024, the Inner Wheel Club of Bhopal Rise celebrated a significant evening at Noor-Us-Sabah Palace, combining the installation of its new executive team with a crucial awareness lecture on women’s health, delivered by the esteemed Dr. Chhaya Budhwani. The new President, Rukhsana Mohsin, was formally installed by Chief Guest Ms. Neha Sheriff, followed by the induction of new office bearers and members. Highlighting the evening was Dr. Chhaya Budhwani’s insightful lecture on cervical cancer awareness and women’s health. Renowned TV anchor and Club Executive committee member Sameena Ali Siddiqui introduced Dr. Budhwani, an expert in gynecology, as she shared crucial information about the importance of early detection and vaccination against HPV, the virus responsible for cervical cancer. Working since last 40 years, Dr Budhwani is currently running her own nursing home at bhopal. Her compelling presentation underscored the critical need for widespread awareness and preventive measures to combat this major health issue. The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Vice President Kirti Sood, the national anthem, and an invitation for high tea. The event not only marked the beginning of a new leadership term but also reinforced the Inner Wheel Club’s dedication to enhancing women’s health and community service.
