Master Class by Designer Nitin Bal Chauhan Organized at National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Bhopal
The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Bhopal organized an inspiring Master Class by renowned fashion designer Nitin Bal Chauhan, Founder & Creative Director of the Nitin Bal Chauhan Luxury Clothing Brand and Co-Founder of Himalayan People Ltd.
During the session, he shared his experiences and emphasized that “Failures can be blessings,” motivating students to embrace challenges as opportunities for creative growth.
He spoke about the early phase of his career, beginning with the study of Economics at Delhi University. However, a visit to NIFT Delhi ignited his passion for fashion, leading him to pursue design professionally. He later secured admission into NIFT Delhi, where he refined his unique design perspective.
Chauhan also shared insights from his acclaimed graduation project collection inspired by the Kargil War, which gained wide media attention for its emotional depth and strong narrative expression.
At the conclusion of the session, Mr. Akhil Sahai, Director, NIFT Bhopal, addressed the students and faculty members, highlighting the importance of such expert interactions for gaining deeper industry understanding.
The Master Class was coordinated by Dr. Debajyoti Ganguly, Cluster Academic Coordinator (CAC).
The event was organized and conducted by the NIFT Bhopal team. The session concluded successfully under the leadership of Mr. Akhil Sahai, Director, NIFT Bhopal, in the presence of all officers, faculty members, and students.
