The yatra will travel through 125 districts, 250 development blocks, and 700 village panchayats, featuring:
• Book exhibitions
• Special displays on freedom fighters and women revolutionaries
• Science-themed exhibitions
• Creative competitions such as poetry and story writing, debates, and short film production
The mission is to foster a love for books and extend book culture to all sections of society — including children, youth, the elderly, persons with disabilities, and the third gender community. Past book yatras have reached prisons, old-age homes, and remote regions, igniting cultural awareness and leaving a lasting impact.
