Maharashtra Sikh Association Submits Representation to MOS Home Shri Nityanand Rai Ji for Inclusion of Nanded in Vande Bharat Train Routes

Mumbai.The Maharashtra Sikh Association (MSA), led by Convenor *S. Bal Malkit Singh*, had the privilege of meeting with *Shri Nityanand Rai Ji*, Minister of State for Home Affairs, Government of India, to submit an official representation advocating for the inclusion of Nanded in the prestigious Vande Bharat Train Routes.The representation highlights the growing significance of Nanded as a religious, cultural, and economic hub, with a special mention of its importance to the Sikh community due to its association with *Takht Sri Hazur Sahib*, one of the five most revered seats of Sikhism. The request was communicated through an official letter addressed to *Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji* and *Railway Minister*.During the meeting, Shri Nityanand Rai Ji assured that he would take this important matter forward with the relevant authorities and work towards the facilitation of Nanded’s inclusion in the Vande Bharat train network. This inclusion would not only enhance connectivity but also benefit millions of pilgrims and residents alike.We are sincerely grateful to Shri Nityanand Rai Ji for his positive assurance and continued support,” said S Daljit Singh Bal, Predident & S. Bal Malkit Singh , Convenor of MSA. “This initiative will significantly contribute to better connectivity and economic development for Nanded and its surrounding areas.”The MSA appreciates the government’s continued efforts in promoting infrastructure and connectivity across the country, and looks forward to a favorable outcome in this regard.
