Guru Gobind Singh Created Most Complete Planetary Remedy System In 1699: Astro-Vastu Expert Manoj Jain

In a new op-ed, Jain argues that the Sikh way of life addresses all nine planetary influences through the Panj Kakars, devotion to the Guru and Khalsa traditions.

New Delhi: Internationally recognised Astro-Vastu consultant, aura reader and life transformation mentor Manoj Jain has authored a provocative new opinion piece titled “The Guru Already Did It”, in which he argues that Guru Gobind Singh Ji established what may be the most complete planetary remedy framework ever created when he founded the Khalsa in 1699.

Drawing upon more than two decades of study and practice in Vastu Shastra and Jyotish, Jain contends that the Sikh way of life incorporates permanent, daily remedies for planetary influences that practitioners of Vastu and astrology typically address through gemstones, rituals, directions, metals, timings and other corrective measures.

In the article, Manoj Jain states that the Panj Kakars are not merely symbols of faith but form a comprehensive planetary architecture embedded into daily life.

According to his analysis:
* The Dastar (Turban) corresponds to Ketu, governing spiritual detachment, karmic liberation and consciousness.
* Kesh (Unshorn Hair and Beard) corresponds to Rahu, representing worldly force, intensity and material power.
* Kara (Iron Bracelet) corresponds to Shani (Saturn), symbolising discipline, karma, accountability and endurance.
* Kirpan corresponds to Mangal (Mars), representing courage, action and the defence of justice.
* Kangha corresponds to Budh (Mercury), associated with intellect, discipline and ordered communication.
* Kachha corresponds to Shukra (Venus), linked to vitality, creative force and disciplined desire.
* Devotion to the Guru corresponds to Brihaspati (Jupiter), representing wisdom, divine grace and higher knowledge.

Manoj Jain further notes that traditional Sikh weddings are performed on Sundays at noon, which he interprets as aligning with Surya (the Sun), the planetary force associated with the soul, authority and life force.

“The Panj Kakars are not symbols of faith wearing a thin coat of science. They are a complete planetary framework that happens to also be a way of life,” Jain writes.

The article argues that while Vastu and Jyotish practitioners often prescribe separate remedies for individual planetary imbalances, Guru Gobind Singh Ji embedded these principles into a lifelong system of daily practice. Jain describes this as a remarkable integration of spirituality, discipline and human behaviour.

While emphasising that he is not suggesting Guru Gobind Singh Ji designed the Panj Kakars as astrological remedies, Jain writes that the depth of the Guru’s wisdom produced a system that, when viewed through the lens of Vastu and Jyotish, aligns with every major planetary principle.

“The practice is the remedy. The life is the medicine,” Jain concludes.
