Capacity Building Programme for PM SHRI Commerce Lecturers from Chhattisgarh Concludes at RIE Bhopal
Bhopal: A Capacity Building Programme for Commerce Lecturers of PM SHRI Schools from the state of Chhattisgarh was successfully conducted at the Regional Institute of Education (RIE), Bhopal, an institute of the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT).
A total of 148 Commerce Lecturers from Chhattisgarh were trained during the programme. The five-day training was conducted in two phases—7 to 11 September and 21 to 25 September 2025. The programme was coordinated by Dr Pradhyuman Singh Lakhawat, RIE Bhopal.
The training programme focused on strengthening the academic and professional capacities of Commerce Lecturers through contemporary teaching-learning approaches, practical and activity-based pedagogies, and exposure to emerging trends and educational practices relevant to Commerce education.
The Valedictory Session was attended by Principal Prof. S. K. Gupta, Chhattisgarh State Coordinator Mr Ashish Gautam, Training Officer Mr Anurag John, Dean Prof. Mandal, and Heads Prof. Ashwini Garg, Prof. Ratnamala Arya, Prof. N. C. Ojha, Prof. Suresh Makwana, Prof. Roopesh, along with Dr Kulveer, Dr Pawan and Dr Venkat.
During the valedictory session, participants shared their experiences and reflected on the academic and professional learning gained during the training. The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr Pradhyuman Singh Lakhawat, who expressed gratitude to the dignitaries, officials, resource persons and participants for their valuable contribution and active participation in making the programme successful.
