Ujjwal Patni Inspires Students at CareerNext – Career Discovery Industry Boot Camp
“In the Age of AI, Being Average Is No Longer an Option; Strive to Become an Expert,” Says Ujjwal Patni

Bhopal: The second day of the two-day mega career guidance event, “CareerNext – Career Discovery Industry Boot Camp,” organized by Scope Global Skills University (SGSU) and Rabindranath Tagore University (RNTU), witnessed an inspiring session by renowned motivational speaker, author, and business coach Dr. Ujjwal Patni. Delivering his keynote address on “Dream Career to Dream Life,” Dr. Patni shared valuable insights on career success, self-confidence, personal growth, and professional excellence.
The session was attended by Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi, Chancellor, SGSU; Dr. Vijay Singh, Vice Chancellor, SGSU; Dr. Sitesh Kumar Sinha, Registrar, SGSU; and Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Gupta, Pro Vice Chancellor, RNTU, along with a large number of students, academicians, and education professionals.
Addressing the students, Dr. Patni introduced the concept of “Daily Self-Audit,” encouraging them to write down one achievement they are proud of and one action they should have avoided each day. He explained that this simple habit helps build self-awareness, discipline, and continuous self-improvement.
Sharing his “Extra Mindset” formula, he emphasized the importance of developing unique strengths and capabilities that differentiate an individual from the crowd. He urged students to cultivate qualities that make them indispensable and help them create their own identity.
Speaking on the principle of “1% Better Every Day,” Dr. Patni highlighted that lasting success is achieved through consistent small improvements rather than dramatic changes. He encouraged students to take small but meaningful steps toward their goals, which eventually lead to significant transformation.
He further advised students to focus on developing skills, networking, industry exposure, and the right mindset during their college years. “This is no longer the era of purely theoretical education. Today’s world demands industry-integrated and skill-based learning that prepares students for real careers,” he said.
Sharing his personal journey, Dr. Patni revealed that he was an average student during his school years but went on to become a doctor, bestselling author, and successful business coach through determination and continuous learning. “If I could transform my life, you can too,” he told the students.
Highlighting the growing impact of Artificial Intelligence, he remarked, “The future belongs to experts. In the age of AI, mediocrity will struggle to survive. Young people must continuously upgrade themselves and build expertise in their chosen fields.”
Earlier in the day, several career-oriented sessions were conducted by industry experts. Sunny Pathak, CEO of Cemetrix; Tushendra Barpanda from the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF); Vikram Choudhary from MSEED; Pulakesh Purakait from IICA; Nandini from ITHS; and Ajay Katana from Geeks of Gurukul interacted with students and provided insights into career opportunities in banking, finance, healthcare, technology, and other emerging sectors.
Throughout the event, students gained exposure to career opportunities in Artificial Intelligence, technology, management, animation and filmmaking, design, media, entrepreneurship, and other future-focused domains. They also benefited from direct interactions with industry experts, career counseling sessions, and networking opportunities.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi, Chancellor, SGSU, said, “The objective of CareerNext is to provide students with the right career direction and connect them with the real expectations of the industry, enabling them to make informed decisions about their future.”
Dr. Aditi Chaturvedi Vats, Pro Chancellor, Rabindranath Tagore University, said, “In today’s competitive world, academic qualifications alone are not sufficient. Students must also develop industry-relevant skills and practical competencies. CareerNext serves as an important platform to prepare young minds for future opportunities and challenges.”
The CareerNext Boot Camp brought together industry leaders, academic experts, and students on a common platform, helping young learners gain clarity, confidence, and career awareness at a crucial stage of their academic journey.
