SUDARSHAN CHAKRA CORPS CELEBRATES INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY

The Sudarshan Chakra Corps celebrated the 11th International Yoga Day amidst the tranquil and verdant setting of Bhopal Military Station. The event saw enthusiastic participation from over 1,000 personnel of all ranks and families. Lieutenant General Prit Pal Singh, AVSM, General Officer Commanding, along with Mrs. Nandita Singh, Zonal President, AWWA, Sudarshan Chakra Corps, led the celebration, lending momentum and visibility to the occasion. The event embraced this year’s International Yoga Day theme — “Yoga for One Earth, One Health” — emphasizing the relevance of holistic well-being, environmental sustainability, and the ancient wisdom of yoga in enhancing the health of individuals and the planet. A series of yoga sessions were conducted, aimed at promoting physical fitness, mental well-being, and ecological consciousness. This celebration reaffirmed the Indian Army’s steadfast commitment to fostering a healthy, sustainable, and balanced way of life among its personnel and the wider community.
