Regional Institute of Education (RIE), Bhopal, NCERT, celebrated the 165th Birth Anniversary of Acharya Prafulla Chandra Ray with support from MPCST, Bhopal. The two-day programme included student activities on indigenous chemistry, green chemistry, scientific creativity and sustainable innovation.

Invited lectures were delivered by Prof. Aasheesh Srivastava, IISER Bhopal, and Prof. Ajay Kumar Bhardwaj, IEHE Bhopal. The programme was organised under the guidance of Prof. Shiv Kumar Gupta, Principal, and Prof. Jaydip Mandal, Dean (Instruction), and coordinated by Dr. R. Prajapati and Dr. Santosh Kumar. Faculty, staff and students actively participated in the celebration, which highlighted P. C. Ray’s enduring legacy of scientific temper, innovation and nation-building
